So I just noticed that panera has changed the once delicious tomato and mozzarella panini into a flatbread. So I tried it. And let me tell you how not delicious this thing was. First of all there was only 1 small slice of tomato on it. Second, the clump of sundried...

Same thing just happened to me in Old Bridge, NJ!

Only difference is there was no mozzerella at all, 2 slices of tomato, and my bread never saw heat. And it's half the size of the panini! Wtf?!

Panera Bread in Reading, Pennsylvania - Poor Quality and High Cost

2.3
Details
Ate at Broadcasting square, Wyomissing, PA Panera's on 6/27/2015. Ordered 1/2 sandwich (turkey, bacon, avocado), iced tea and tomato soup. Soup was barely warm and watered down. Sandwich was very small and on white bread. It also had very little on it.I was not asked if wanted another kind of bread. Tea was good. Cost was $11 which was way too much. I have not been to Panera's in some time and do not plan to return. It used to be a very high quality restaurant but has become a fast food, poor quality place. My friend had the same meal and was very disappointed. l

Panera Bread in Allentown, Pennsylvania - Unhappy with management

3.7
Details
my grand-daughter worked for panera she was a good worker and liked her job. She fainted one day while on the job, and was fired two days later and management never called her to let her know why she was fired. Very unhappy with how this was handled. She did call and no one would call her back one manager when she did call said they where thinking of firing her but gave her no reason why. My granddaughter had to go in on her own and check the schedule to see she was crossed off the schedule she was very upset.

IF your grandaughter is old enough to be working, she is old enough to do her own complaining. All you know is what she has told you and that doesn't necessarily mean she is telling you the truth/everything about what actually happened.

You can bet your bottom dollar there is more to the story than what you know or are telling us. As Judge Judy likes to say, "you know a teenager is lying when their mouth is moving." Also in some states a business doesn't need a reason to fire somebody.

IF they want to fire a person that is exactly what they are able to do.

Just because you are a lying sack of *** teenager, doesn't mean that everyone else is. Guess what sweetheart?

YOU don't get to decide who can write a complaint here. If the complainant wants to write a letter about her grand-daughter, that is none of your business. For all you know, the teenager is a minor, in which case it REALLY is none your business. BTW: people don't get fired for absolutely no reason at all and no, businesses or at least smart businesses, don't fire someone without a justifiable reason.

There are protected classes that businesses cannot fire, i.e.

because they are black, pregnant, etc. You can't fire people based on those reasons, it is illegal.

Panera Bread - Online Order Review from North Ridgeville, Ohio

Was told that there was a 50% off code for ordering online. Seemed like a great promotion to get new customers. I've only ever had their bagels and decided to order some other stuff to see if I would like it. Went to pick up my order and was told it was canceled because the code wasn't legit. I was upset I didn't get to try out some of their food but what pissed me off is that I wasted my time and gas getting out there. My phone number was on the order and they couldn't bother to call me. What horrible customer service. They could of gained a new customer but lost my entire family. Way to go!

Panera Bread in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina - Really, really bad experience

2.3
Details
Today my friend and I stopped for lunch while we were out shopping. We chose Panera because I have been eating there since a kid, and I love the cinnamon rolls more than any other pastry. When I came in, the environment was very hectic, more so than usual. I got a cup of chicken noodle which was fine, could have been a little warmer, and the baguette was harder than baguettes should be. I got fruit punch from the soft drink dispenser and it was so sickly sweet, nothing like the fruit punch I normally get there. I dumped i out and opted for the sierra mist. It tasted so off and disgusting, it actually tasted like dirty carbonated water. I think the syrups or something was off in the dispenser. The friend i was with tried both of my drinks and agreed they were off. I'm really disappointed. Panera is one of my go-to's but with all the new restaurants with significantly lower prices, and I'm sure more consistent quality I don't know if it will remain a staple.

Panera Bread - Employee Experience Review from Wilmington, Delaware

1.9
Details
Yeah Panera Bread is quick and fast and make their employees fast but then they *** up their food quality. Its not good. Its thrown together. You should take your time and not force everybody you work with to be *** fast. I tried to work there and the woman who hired me was like "i have high standards". And then I'm a really amazing worker and i try to satisfy everybody and I'm kind to the customer. I was an awesome worker and i did my fullest job possible that i had experience in. They said i didnt pass the training because i was TOO SLOW. And then i would see them making the food as fast as they could and the sandwhichs looked like tumors.

Grow up! A lot of people have to work on the days that you mentioned.

It doesn't matter whether or not it is a restaurant, retail store, or the more important jobs, like law enforcement, fire fighters, EMTs, gas stations, grocery stores, etc. There are families that like to go out to eat on holidays, instead of eating at home.
