I ate at Panera Bread in Livonia, MI (Haggerty/8 Mile) on Friday, October 17th. I placed a "to go" order and sat down and waited. I was observing the dining room and couldn't believe my eyes! A Panera employee wiped down the seat and the proceeded to wipe down the...

Panera Bread in Ellicott City, Maryland - Not as advertised
Gone to this restaurant several times as I considered it "clean food". I hadn't been in a while and decided to go so I could get the advertised turkey, cranberry and squash soup. It was a total disappointment.as the turkey was not cut thick slices as shown, three to be exact, but shaved; what appeared to be processed meat. Not one cranberry, but looked like drizzled cranberry juice. The soup was not panerra quality. To top everything off he offered me a cookie. I'm diabetic so of no value. Said he had gotten a lot of complaints.insulted my intelligence by saying it was the panini equipment that smashed the turkey and cranberries. Really. It was not panini. Ok I left and before I got home, got very sick. Was sick all night into the next day. I will now hesitate to go again. Told my 53 year old daughter about it and found out the same happened to her. So disappointed. Jean surowiec
- Getting sick from food
Reason of review
Bad food, not as advertised and made me very sick
Monetary compensation for making me sick and not being able to do my work.
Untasty Bread Review
Horrible sub par roll instead of tasty baguettes. Thought you specialized in bread and quality.
Panera Bread Soup Review
I am disappointed that baguettes are no longer offered. Getting a bun with my soup was a surprise and not very satisfying.
Panera Bread - Panera's lack of concern about customer & employee safety
I made a complaint about the store manager re-shelving food & cups that had fallen on the floor. He also threatened the employees that he would force them to drink from the dirty cups if they threw them away. All Panera is doing is contacting this same manager & telling him to look into it! They should have his supervisor & higher ups investigate, but that is company policy. I am sure this manager is going to have a talk with himself about threatening his employees. I can see that Panera is only concerned about money & not health & safety.
Panera Bread - Sandwich Review from Kenosha, Wisconsin
I went through the drive thru in Kenosha on 10/13. Check number 1354304. Ordered a smoke turkey sandwich but got a grilled cheese. I phone and complained and was told that they will send me a coupon for $5.99 in the mail. This is not acceptable as I don't have a sandwich to eat now. I am allergic to cheese and would have expected at least a refund for 2 sandwiches At least. The lady that spoke with me was called Alexis. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Phone 2623274337. I would like to discuss.
Panera Bread - Soup Review from Helotes, Texas
The waiting in line?? what line? No one had a clue . I then asked how large is a whole sandwich? Again it was a struggle to order, THE cashier was asked about soup . Her comments were we have broccoli and cheese ? But I could. Reach THE board to add to the menu! I was shocked when I got what u call s meal less than an ounce of Turkey what a joke I had to laugh before I screamed 35.00 dollars lunch for TWO.
Panera Bread in Ann Arbor, Michigan - Dirty food & cups
It was at an Ann Arbor, MI Panera. An employee dropped some pastry on the floor while stocking the shelves. The manager told the employee to just put in on the shelf to sell! Another time, cups fell on the floor & the same manager told the employee to put the cups back in the stack. Next, the manager threatened all employees present that if anyone threw those cups out, he would go into the trash & force that employee to drink from one of the cups. It seems that the higher ups don't care. They refuse to take action or say "We will talk to that manager," but no action is ever taken. His comment to the employees constitutes a physical threat. But as long a Panera makes money, making customers ill is not a big deal!

Panera Bread - Dirty spoons
I went to Panera in Lynnfield Ma for the second time last night. I ordered a half sandwich/half soup. When I went to pick up my order I noticed that the spoon was dirty. I asked for another spoon. My response was that it was clean, this is the way they come out of the dishwasher. She gave me another spoon. She said that if I wanted to complain, I could tell the store manager or the dishwasher. Three weeks ago, I did complain to the manager about the spoons. Look what it did - nothing! Also, the first time I was there the bathroom was a mess. I also complained about that. It is a new store in a new mall. I think there should be more quality control there. First impressions to a customer make a big difference!
