Panera Bread in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - My value and appreciation as a customer

The panera bread across the street from the art institute of fort lauderdale has some very rude managers unfortunately I would say the whole story but it's too long I'm a usually consumer there and I get treated like my service is not wanted. I will not go back there I feel very offended that I spoke to the manager about her attitude and she told me bluntly that she didn't care and that she's a manager I have also been told by others that there service sucks but it's ok I rather spend my money for breakfast lunch and dinner else where

You think their service sucks, well your spelling and grammar suck.

Attack of the Grammar Gestapo. Sure, ignore the complaint, and pick on the grammar. That really refutes the argument.

I recently went to a location near the Rave Motion Pictures theatre, ordered soup and a sandwich and when I went to pick up my order it was being served by a man with a long beard. Yuck! Doesn't this company realize how grotesque that is? I 'm sorry all you follicular...

How do you live inside of your own head? Honestly cannot understand why people are so eager to tell others how to live...

you were unaffected by the beard and yet caused a mess of a situation. After that you should refuse orders prepared by Protestants because that makes sense.

At the least, do not publicize your ridiculous everything for the world to see.

Panera Bread in The Woodlands, Texas - Service and standards Horrendous

SErvice horrible. Staff eating food. Hygene terrible. Complained thru Panera site: told due to large number of complaints it would take a while. Still waiting. SHOCKING Here is reply of 19 January "Thank you for contacting Panera Bread. We have successfully received your email and one of our support team members will be in touch with you. However, due to an unusual volume of emails we are experiencing delays in responding. If you have an immediate request please contact your local bakery-cafe. Your satisfaction is a priority, and we will do our best to respond to you soon. Sincerely, The Panera Bread Customer Team" UNACCEPTABLE

How can you prove that the hygiene is terrible? Why is it bad for the employees to eat the food?

Did you try complaining to the local manager? However, just because you don't think the place is being ran properly, doesn't mean that you are right. Health inspectors do inspect any place that handles any kind of food on a regular basis and if any violations are found, they are given a certain amount of time to correct the situation.

From what I understand some of the inspections are done unannounced. Basically you sound like a chronic complainer.

Panera Bread in Boston, Massachusetts - Going downhill

At a Brookline, Mass. Panera, theserver was full of tattoos - no thanks, that's disgusting. The server forgot my chicken on my salad. The croutons on my chicken Caesar salad were as hard as rocks. My chocolate chip cookie was stale. The lettuce in my salad was getting wilted. Six noisy high school kids at the table next to mine, were jumping around. Non one stopping this nuisance. Dirty tables in general, no one cleaning up. Dishes in the disposal area full, no one cleaning up. Asked for a complaint box - was told none was available. Asked for manager - none came quickly.

How are tattoos "disgusting" in relation to food service? Are that person's hands somehow dirtier than yours? You sound very stuck up.

Poor baby!!! If you don't like the conditions when eating out, start eating at home.

How were the high school kids jumping around, could it be that you are exaggerating, and just wanted to add that to your long list of complaints.

I find it hard to believe that all those things were wrong at the same time. Maybe you are a chronic complainer.

6 kids one booth, kids falling out of booth onto the floor. No supervision.

Food was a dud, experience a dud.

No one cleaning up. Eaten out a lot over a long time, and nothing ever was as unpleasant.

Panera Bread in Blacksburg, Virginia - Impolitness of the branch manager

I am a regular customer in Panera Bread, Blacksburg VA branch. I usually visit Panera on a weekly basis to study and I am used to going there early morning. On Saturday Feb, 9th I was there early time in the morning, where the place was not yet crowded. when It was sometime before 12, the place started to be crowded, the manager suddenly came to me and asked me to leave my table since it was for 4 people and said go and study in the back in the computer bars, he said it in a rude way without even waiting for my respond. I know that they have a rule in this regard so I went to the computers section, it was very crowded and I didn't find any place. I came back to my table, putting my stuff only on one side so that anyone can set in case he didn't find a place. after sometime, when I was about to leave, he came again, not asking me why I didn't go back, he said Literally: "I asked you to leave this table for a family of four and go back, If you don't respond I will ask you to leave the branch!" I didn't comment on what he said in an Impolite way, the only thing I said: "there was no place in the back and I am leaving soon" he said: "I will show you" I then told him: "I am leaving within half an hour, and there are many tables of four around me, if a specific family came and ask me to leave because there are no available tables of four I will do it, otherwise I will not leave my table for no reason". He said: "sorry mam I have to run my business and I will ask you to leave our branch or I will call the police!!" I was shocked from his rudeness reply so I told him: "you will call the police and you didn't even waited for my reply when you talked to me in the first time?! is it a good way to deal with your customers? you just behave in an impolite way with a single customer in order not to lose 4 customers? in this case I will leave now without even waiting for the half an hour to pass neither changing my place, and I will try to find better ways to let you better deal with you customers" and I left the place in a very bad mood, because of this aggressive manager, his name is Mark, who sticks to the book without even thinking how comfortable his customer feels, neither how applicable the rule is in the current situation. I am trying to contact Panera customer service but it seems that the system is not working since its about filling a form describing the service but the page does not work. If anyone knows about another ways that I can complain about the manager's behavior please let me know.

Why can't you study at home? That would make more sense.

When you are there do you order food, or just sit there occupying space?

There is a difference. From your capitalization, spelling, lack of space between sentences it appears that you need to do a whole lot of studying, maybe you would get more done at home.

I stopped going to Panera in Northern Virginia after 2 bad experiences. 1.

Panera on Duke St, Alexandria: Plastic wrap and some paper with black grease on it in my food. Manger made me another sandwich but the server acted like it was no big deal. 2.

Panera on Route 7 Skyline Plaza by the Trader Joe's: After waiting in line the place our( I was w/ family) order, the manager closed the cash register and told every one our line to get to the back of the other lines. After customers who had already been waiting complained, she screamed at every one the shop to get into the "correct" line.

This sounds like a story you made up, to be honest. Nobody who works in retail is *** enough to say F U to a customer, especially not someone who was working on the line.

There is so much going on back there at all times, I'd be surprised if the lady didn't just go to a cashier instead. There is no reason for behavior like this, therefore it sounds made up. Furthermore, if it is true, it sounds like you stepping in certainly did not help matters. Why did you take it upon yourself to not only butt in to this other customer's "problem" but to also post about it online?

It only affected you because you supposedly asked the line person if they REALLY said what you thought they said, right? Your request for the manager also seems far-fetched. Wouldn't the woman request a manager if this happened?

So what was she doing, standing back in a demure pose with her incorrect order in hand? Aren't you the hero.

Panera Bread - really going down hill

The quality of Panera food has declined, plus the soups are now 'canned' grade. The country stew had very little flavor and was mostly corn starch used as the thickener. YUK! And now, the posted menus are so whacked that what you think you are ordering is actually a different price because of some *** menu category technicality. Even though we ordered a specific pictured and priced 'pick 2', the cashier said one of the items is really a 'signature' item and added $4 to our tab. It sucks to be scammed when you are hungry. We won't be going back any time soon.

I used to go to Panera regularly and then went back recently and there is something wrong and the quality has gone down considerably. Since there are so many other options to eat everywhere I likely will not go to Panera bread anymore. This sucks because I used to like them and would go almost weekly...

The You Pick Two item options are clearly displayed-ALL of the price options are right there in front of your face, so nothing is being hidden from you. Also, the most it would cost you to add a signature item, is 60 cents apiece, which would not amount to $4.

Try to not be a drama queen.

It is nobody's fault at Panera Bread that you do not know how to read a menu/order food. Some people don't have money for any food, let alone Panera, so you should stop whining.

Maybe you shouldn't go into a restaurant 10 MINUTES before close and order dine-in food. They shouldn't have been so rude but you should have been considerate of the fact that you are hindering these minimum wage employee's ability to go home to their lives and families.

By effect, you are being a bad customer. Have some consideration for the people behind the counter and treat them like people
