Best experience at Westchester store

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I just wanted to send compliments out to the Westchester, CA store and the manager Memo. I am from Chicago and the customer service at that store even exceeds them and I have never had a problem in Chicago. The staff at Westchester is a much nicer crew, especially Memo.

An amazing experience in Grand Rapids Store 3728

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I just want to say thank you to one of your employees at the Grand Rapids location/Centennial in Michigan. I accidentally ordered from one of your other locations and went to pick everything up at the location that I thought I ordered from. (Panera near Woodland Mall) My order was not there and a very pleasant employee suggested that I might have ordered from the Centennial location. I went there and still no order. A great employee (may be a manager?) figured out what the problem was and expedited my order. She called the other store to cancel and refund my AMEX. She was amazing...if she isn't a manager, she should be!! The name on my receipt is Grace...I hope that is her name. I love Panera and this experience just reinforces my belief that it's a great place...and great food!! I hope someone will confirm that the woman's name is Grace and offer her some really positive accolades!! (By the way...my AMEX was already credited this morning!!) This took place on 4/7/2019@5:35 pm/616-363-****. Check number 309685. Sincerely, Mary Kennedy 404-402-****

Disappointed Columbia Heights store closure

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The Panera Bread store closed at Columbia Heights DC last year. I am sad it closed. Luckily some of the workers found jobs at other stores. At the location it has not been replaced yet and it only looks partially vacated. I strongly urge PB to ignore the poor reviews by petty minded. We all love to judge but PB you contributed to the DC community in an area where sitting and meeting space is at a premium. School moms, students, retirees, transplants really loved this location *** beauty marks, hip music or black music. It is rare that capitalists have a real opportunity to contribute to the community by an informal center like this location was. Please ask your investors if they might reconsider this a good green partnership. Good food coffee pastries and bread, we all miss you! Like

I was given the wrong soup once again. This has happened b4. I love Panera bread and the quality ingredients. But the people who are filling the orders are very nonchalant and don't pay attention to what they are doing.

Panera Bread - Cashier Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I came in to order at 2515 S 32nd Ave Grand Forks, ND 58201 Phone (701) 772-****. A lady memes Karen who was taking my order kept asking me was I a coach or am I on the football team. I’m black and this is a constant problem I Grand Forks. I love coming to this store particularly due to great people and customer service. This time with Karen with her continuous wrong assumptions made me uncomfortable and I went to another person to order my food. The staff said she always like that. Why is this acceptable. I will be looking forward to a call or I would take this further if possible.

That woman has EVERY right to complain. Parrots cannot be recognized as official service animals.

Emotional support animals don't have the same rights as trained service animals (and they don't require paperwork, so having a "registered" animal makes NO difference.) An emotional support animal may be able to get around "no pet rules" for housing and air travel, but that's IT.

They do not have any legal right to be in restaurants or stores. Emotional support animals are NOT service animals and do NOT have the same rights as service animals.

You are correct that ESAs don’t have the same rights as service animals BUT that is why we call ahead to businesses asking if it’s ok to bring them inside or not. Because SOME businesses allow emotional support animals to come inside.

I was just at a Panera Bread on Saturday, I made sure I called before even arriving that it was ok to bring my dog inside.

They said yes, as long as I have my ESA proof card out. No one was bothered and my dog laid by my side while I studied.

In mid December I bought $150.00 in gift certificates and in turn earned $30.00 in Three bonus card. Earlier this week I went into the Panera’s on Washtenaw Ave(Ann Arbor) to use them and only two were valid. I know that I had not used any of them and that they expire on January 22. The number of the card is 6006 49** **52 063* 216. My home phone number and the one on the Panera account is 734 994 ****, my cell is 734 904 ****. Email is spynek@***.net. Let me know what I should do with this invalidate card. Sally Kennedy

An Empoyee going far behind his duties!!

Dear Sir, On November 18, 2018 we were traveling through Port Orange Florida where we stopped for dinner with our five grandchildren, ranging from the ages of seven to fifteen. Our seven year old grandson left his favorite jacket.

As we arrived at Port Canaveral, Carson, our youngest grandson, realized his jacket was missing. We immediately call Panera Bread in Port Orange, but the jacket was not there. Of course, Carson was heartbroken but we told him we would keep trying and not to worry and let this ruin our Thanksgiving cruise. Upon returning to shore, we called again and a young man named, Eli Deranger answered the phone.

I asked about the jacket and he said they had it but had no way to mail it from Panera Bread, but that he would personally mail it to us. He did as he said he would and Carson's favorite jacket is back home! I wanted you to know the fine example Eli was for our Carson and his outstanding witness to a young boy. Thank you for employing people such as Eli who went the extra mile to help Carson.

We shall always remember Eli's kindness.

So often we only hear complaints; however, there is always something good to say about young people. A truly grateful grandmother, Anne Brown

Panera Bread - Grilled cheese sandwich pick two

Original review Oct 16, 2018
To whom it may concern, On Tuesday, Oct. 16th my husband and I ordered our pick twos.

My husband's pick two consisted of a 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and a baguette. After receiving our order, my husband picked up his half of sandwich (grilled only on one side) and took a bite. He was pulling on the bread (tough, like they had microwaved it). Then we opened it up and it was a sight to see.

To us, it looked as though they sprinkled some cheese and grilled it and then microwaved it. Needless to say, I went up to complain with the sandwich. They did give my husband another grilled cheese, but again, it was only grilled on one side. My husband has ordered this 2 other times, and he never encountered this experience.

The bread was crunchy like it should be. We have no idea what had happened tonight. Off the topic, I had used the rest room, and I was taken back to see how unclean the sink was. There was black ink or something splattered and clear plastic over it.

I had to move the clear plastic to wash my hands. Thank you, for your time and consideration in this matter.

Please feel free to call or email us. Therese and Glenn Smith 845 724-**** or tasny311@***.com

Chicken soba

For the first time, I ordered a carry out chicken soba. This is the worst noodle I've ever ate. It looks and taste terrible. Panera food is decent and I enjoy going there once in a while, this food looks and tastes disgusting. Get rid of this from your menu and come out with another noodle dish.

It was the most professional phone conversation I’ve had in a while. The phone representative woman helped me out even with information that was not needed but really helped the understanding of the hiring/application process, go alot more deliberate. Again, as I told her, hopefully it goes to one of the recruitors in my area, that I am not in college for this year. So maybe there would be more consideration into my application. Thank you.
