Panera Bread - Cashier Review
Had my service animal/ emotional support animal in the store
I woman came up to the counter and complained about me having my registered parrot on my shoulder while picking up my to go order in the cafe i just want to thank the manager on duty for deffending me , he realy deserves a raise dealing so well with these situations!when she got into my face and i chose to walk away and wait in my car for my order, telling her ahe wasnt making a comment but was just trying to cause problems. The manager was so knowledgeable and was very kind when i was badly shaken.
Im not going to tell ramdom strangers that Bubba is there to help me!
I was shaking so bad (especaily after she took a picture of my cars plates! its people like her who just live to make other peoples lives misserable because her life is soo sad!
Thankyou for bieng pet friendly and supporting me i will be comming into the cafe more often!
The representative-Cory- listened to my story and was very polite and said that somebody would get back with me.
My rewards don’t work
An Empoyee going far behind his duties!!
Dear Sir, On November 18, 2018 we were traveling through Port Orange Florida where we stopped for dinner with our five grandchildren, ranging from the ages of seven to fifteen. Our seven year old grandson left his favorite jacket.
As we arrived at Port Canaveral, Carson, our youngest grandson, realized his jacket was missing. We immediately call Panera Bread in Port Orange, but the jacket was not there. Of course, Carson was heartbroken but we told him we would keep trying and not to worry and let this ruin our Thanksgiving cruise. Upon returning to shore, we called again and a young man named, Eli Deranger answered the phone.
I asked about the jacket and he said they had it but had no way to mail it from Panera Bread, but that he would personally mail it to us. He did as he said he would and Carson's favorite jacket is back home! I wanted you to know the fine example Eli was for our Carson and his outstanding witness to a young boy. Thank you for employing people such as Eli who went the extra mile to help Carson.
We shall always remember Eli's kindness.
So often we only hear complaints; however, there is always something good to say about young people. A truly grateful grandmother, Anne Brown

Resolved: Grilled cheese sandwich pick two
They contacted us and resolved it
My husband's pick two consisted of a 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and a baguette. After receiving our order, my husband picked up his half of sandwich (grilled only on one side) and took a bite. He was pulling on the bread (tough, like they had microwaved it). Then we opened it up and it was a sight to see.
To us, it looked as though they sprinkled some cheese and grilled it and then microwaved it. Needless to say, I went up to complain with the sandwich. They did give my husband another grilled cheese, but again, it was only grilled on one side. My husband has ordered this 2 other times, and he never encountered this experience.
The bread was crunchy like it should be. We have no idea what had happened tonight. Off the topic, I had used the rest room, and I was taken back to see how unclean the sink was. There was black ink or something splattered and clear plastic over it.
I had to move the clear plastic to wash my hands. Thank you, for your time and consideration in this matter.

That woman has EVERY right to complain. Parrots cannot be recognized as official service animals.
Emotional support animals don't have the same rights as trained service animals (and they don't require paperwork, so having a "registered" animal makes NO difference.) An emotional support animal may be able to get around "no pet rules" for housing and air travel, but that's IT.
They do not have any legal right to be in restaurants or stores. Emotional support animals are NOT service animals and do NOT have the same rights as service animals.
You are correct that ESAs don’t have the same rights as service animals BUT that is why we call ahead to businesses asking if it’s ok to bring them inside or not. Because SOME businesses allow emotional support animals to come inside.
I was just at a Panera Bread on Saturday, I made sure I called before even arriving that it was ok to bring my dog inside.
They said yes, as long as I have my ESA proof card out. No one was bothered and my dog laid by my side while I studied.
