New ReviewerI have still not heard back from Panera about any action taken. Very displeased about their lack of communication.
On Sunday Sept. 19 at 4:30pm, I visited the drive-thru at the North Brunswick NJ location.
When I was at the speaker to place my order, the person taking my order sounded annoyed and very unpleasant. When I got to the window, I was shocked to see that around her neck, she had a yellow lanyard with a large yellow tag which said "I AM A RAY OF *** SUNSHINE". REALLY????? Is this the kind of person you want representing your company????
I had a young (pre-teen) child in the car and she definitely noticed this. Frankly, I was appalled not only at this blatantly rude display, but even more appalled that the manager at this location allowed this sort of thing. I am a frequent patron at Panera and enjoy the food, but I have NEVER been exposed to this sort of thing before from an employee who interacts with the public. Unbelievable.
I will think twice before patronizing Panera again. And rest assured, I will copy and paste this "review" on social media.
Preferred solution: This employee needs to be severely reprimanded for her completely inappropriate behavior..
