I will never go to Panera bread again. I used to do rapid pick up for breakfast and lunch atleast 3 times a week visiting the Delray Beach location sometimes twice a day.
Most times my rapid pick up would be late. A few times I got there past the arrival time given online and my food wasn't even prepared yet. I tried to be patient and the manager apologized and noticed the repeated issue. The one time my food was on time with rapid pick up they gave me a sandwich with the egg and cheese mostly out of the bun (see pic).
The manager apologized and made another sandwich for me which caused me to run late for work (I buy breakfast from them right before I go in for my shift). Today I tried to make a payment on the app for my rapid pick up and the card that I always use was no longer in my panera bread account. I so happen to leave my wallet home today so I relied on panera bread for lunch since my card info is saved. But this time it gave me the option to use 2 old cards that I had saved which are no longer active.
The website gave me the option to pay with my paypal which I added to my panera account yet when i went to checkout there was no option to use the paypal. I called the customer service number and the person who I spoke with did not care to help. He said they will look into it.... well now I am starving and wasted my entire lunch talking to this rep who was not helpful at all.
I spend too much money on panera and have been a loyal customer for years frequenting their food chain numerous time per week. They lack in customer service and have lost me as a consumer.
