Panera Bread entered my $2 as $200 on 3/9/16 and advised me I would get a refund back in 24 hours. That was 6 days ago.

I have spoken to over 30 people who have all promised a manager would call me back and rush the refund and no one calls back. When you call customer care, they transfer you back to main line. I have spent over 4 hours since last week on the phone with them but getting no where.

I need my money back as soon as possible.

Product or Service Mentioned: Panera Bread Customer Care.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Sounds like you used a debit card instead of cash or even a credit card. If so, you should use this as a learning experience---using debit cards can be rather dangerous.

This is how we learn. As for your refund, good luck on that.


I would be beyond livid. I had a similar problem once (not with Panera) and I gave up calling customer service.

Instead, I looked up the number to the Corporate offices and called there, demanding resolution. If you speak firmly but politely and professionally, you have a good shot of getting thru to an executive.
